Simple Attendance
QR + face-recognition punch clock for any small team.
In production for a Tea Live franchisee. Next: broadening beyond F&B to schools and training cohorts.
The problem
Small teams struggle to track attendance accurately, whether it's a café, a school, or a training cohort. Paper sheets and buddy-punching make hours and payroll unreliable.
Our solution
The app shows a rotating QR on whatever screen is handy: a POS, a tablet at the door, a projector. People scan it with their phone and verify by face recognition that runs entirely in the browser, so nothing leaves the device. It records clock-in, breaks, and clock-out, and produces monthly reports.
Key features
- Rotating QR code shown on any screen (POS, tablet, projector)
- People scan with their own phone
- In-browser face recognition (WebNN/WASM): privacy-first, nothing leaves the device
- Clock in, break, and clock out
- Monthly attendance summaries, hours worked, per-staff breakdown
